Experienced Installation / Service Technician

Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced Installation/Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in installing, troubleshooting, and servicing various security systems. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem‑solving skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Install & repair all aspects of CCTV (analog and IP), Access Control, Burglar Alarm and associated peripheral equipment
Perform routine maintenance and service on existing security systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure successful project completion
Maintain accurate documentation of all installations, service calls, and maintenance activities
Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve skills and knowledge
Follow safe and secure practices to safeguard against injury, damage to property and confidential information based on both company and client safety standards
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in installing, servicing, and troubleshooting security systems in a similar position
Manufacturer Certifications: Honeywell, Kantech, VideoEdge, American Dynamics, ProWatch, Victor, VMS or other types of security platforms
Experience with CCTV (analog and IP), Access Control, Burglar Alarm, and other associated equipment
Working knowledge of MS Office and basic computer functions
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members while ensuring confidentiality
Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent qualification
Physical Demands & Safety
Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment, climb ladders, and work in various environments
Ability to effectively use hand and power tools
Ability to work in all weather conditions
Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
Must pass a pre‑employment drug screening and background investigation
Ability to travel
