Responsibilities
Use knowledge of scales, weight measures, and tares to accurately weigh and label products.
Hire, schedule, train, and develop deli staff.
Order, check, receive, and control inventory to ensure adequate inventory levels, product quality, freshness and prevent the sale of out of code product.
Implement company programs, policies, and procedures.
Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and health code regulations.
Monitor, control, and report on the various components to maximize revenue and minimize expenses while ensuring adequate supplies and staff are on hand to provide top quality customer service.
Respond to customer trends, needs, issues, comments, and problems to ensure a quality experience.
Identify and correct maintenance and repair issues.
Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of sales floor and work area, freezer, and equipment.
