Your Role as a Bus Driver As a childcare bus driver, you will ensure the safe transportation of children to and from our facilities. In addition to your driving duties, you may also serve as a teacher, working to create a nurturing environment where children can thrive. Your responsibilities include assisting in guiding young learners, planning engaging activities, and cultivating strong partnerships with parents through open communication.
Requirements
At least 21 years old, hold a CDL, and the necessary credentials for a Bus Driver in Oklahoma, including the ability to pass a background check, a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and child passenger safety training.
Genuine empathy and understanding of children's needs and development.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexibility and adaptability to meet community needs and respond to changing circumstances.
Capable of meeting the physical demands of working with children.
