Director of Maintenance Position Summary
Custodian is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment at Triton Corporation. This individual plays a vital role in supporting the daily operations of the school building by ensuring classrooms, restrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas are clean, sanitized, and secure. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Clean and sanitize restrooms, classrooms and other school spaces as needed. Sweep, mop, vacuum carpets as needed. Collect and dispose of trash and recycling from classrooms and common areas. Clean windows, walls, whiteboards, and furniture as assigned. Restock paper products, soap, and other custodial supplies throughout the building. Assist with school events by setting up/taking down tables, chairs, and equipment. Report any damage, needed repairs, or safety concerns to the Head Custodian or Maintenance Director. Perform general custodial work. Collaborate with other custodians and school staff to support a positive school climate. Qualifications
Must be dependable. Must be able to work well alone, and as part of a team. Must be self-motivated and able to work with little supervision. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Prior custodial or facilities maintenance experience is desirable. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, bend, stoop, climb ladders, and perform physical labor. Reliable, responsible, and committed to maintaining a safe and clean environment for students and staff. Ability to pass a background check as required by Triton School Corporation. Core Values
