Key Responsibilities:
Perform manual labor tasks, including digging, lifting, carrying materials, and site clean‑up.
Assist with utility and site work, including trenching, grading, and excavation.
Operate basic hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
Work in confined spaces as required for specific job sites.
Follow all OSHA and NYC DOB safety regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
Load and unload construction materials and equipment.
Assist skilled tradespeople (e.g., operators, carpenters, and foremen) as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized job site to prevent hazards.
Attend safety meetings and training sessions as required.
Qualifications :
Proven experience in civil construction, including underground utility installation (sewer and water mains), and/or concrete curb, sidewalk, and asphalt work.
Must have OSHA 30, NYC DOB 40‑Hour SST, and 4‑Hour Confined Space certifications.
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and perform physical labor.
Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
Strong commitment to safety and following job site protocols.
Willingness to work overtime or weekends as needed to meet project deadlines.
