Who We’re Looking For Previous handyman or construction experience Enjoys working in teams and learning new skills Motivated to help others in a time of need Passionate about making a difference in the community Comfortable working outdoors and with hands-on tasks
Key Responsibilities Respond promptly to emergency situations, including water damage and fire damage. Evaluate and perform restoration activities such as water extraction, fire damage remediation, specialty equipment setup, and demolition. Load, inventory, and maintain work vehicles with the necessary tools, equipment, and supplies for each project. Communicate safety hazards, job site findings, and equipment requirements to supervisors. Maintain open and clear communication with clients, addressing concerns and explaining the restoration process. Perform restoration and cleanup tasks, including water extraction, drying, and site clean‑up.
Position Requirements Valid driver’s license. Willingness to work occasional on‑call shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Previous experience in restoration, construction, or a related field is preferred. IICRC certification is a plus. Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, and up to 100 pounds with assistance. Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, and in tight spaces such as crawl spaces and attics. Ability to repetitively push, pull, lift, and carry objects. Ability to work safely with cleaning agents.
