Job Summary We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Service Department Custodial Attendant/ Porter to help maintain a clean, safe, and organized service department. This role is essential to supporting our technicians and ensuring a professional experience for both employees and customers.
Key Responsibilities
Clean and maintain service bays, shop floors, break room, restrooms, and customer wait areas
Empty trash and properly dispose of shop waste according to safety guidelines
Mop, sweep, and power wash floors as needed
Keep technician bays clean, pick up trash and clean up spilled fluids according to safety guidelines
Follow all dealership policies and safety procedures
Assist with porter duties as needed
Maintain cleanliness around oil disposal areas and equipment
Follow OSHA and dealership safety standards
Report maintenance or safety concerns to management
Other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
Previous janitorial or custodial experience preferred (automotive a plus)
Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically active environment
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, kneel, bend over, and stand for extended periods
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
Basic understanding of safety procedures and cleaning chemicals
Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
Must be able to pass a background check and pre-hire drug screening
