Care Initiatives is now hiring an Area Intake Coordinator – Financial to join our Central Intake Team. This full-time, remote position will:
Responsibilities
Assist in the coordination of all admissions to facility in accordance with budgeted census projections.
Verify potential residents Insurance and obtain insurance authorization for admission.
Qualifications
Knowledge of Medicare, Managed Care, and Medicaid Insurance.
Point Click Care CRM knowledge – preferred.
Knowledge of insurance portals and authorization guidelines.
Maintain solid relationships with insurance case managers.
Knowledge of hospital referral systems and electronic medical records.
