Description The Housekeeping Aide is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment throughout the facility. This role includes cleaning resident rooms, common areas, in accordance with facility standards, infection control policies, and safety regulations.
Housekeeping Aide Responsibilities
Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and common areas according to schedule and procedures.
Dust, mop, vacuum, and sanitize surfaces as assigned.
Operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
Follow proper infection control and isolation cleaning procedures.
Use appropriate chemicals and cleaning solutions as directed.
Report needed repairs or maintenance issues to supervisor.
Maintain housekeeping cart and storage areas in a clean, organized manner.
Provide respectful and courteous service to residents and staff.
Position Requirements
Demonstrates Professionalism.
Adheres to predetermined work dates and times.
Regular scheduled attendance is required.
Complete assignments in a timely manner as assigned.
Work cooperatively with all departments.
Consistently professional in appearance.
Qualification
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Previous housekeeping experience preferred, especially in healthcare.
