Hutchinson Public Schools is seeking a Long-term Title/ADSIS Education Assistant Substitute at Tiger Elementary
from January5, 2026 – April 10, 2026. The Long-term Title/ADSIS Education Assistant Substitute will provide support, explanation, re‑teaching, and instructional help for students in reading and math. This position includes 5 hours and 15 minutes each day as a Title/ADSIS Education Assistant and 1 hour and 30 minutes each day as a Student Supervisor. The Student Supervisor monitors students during non‑classroom activities (during arrival time for students as well as recess), ensuring that school rules are followed to maintain student safety. The salary range for this position is $18.27 to $20.77 per hour. Responsibilities: Maintain confidentiality standards by adhering to the district’s data privacy policy Help to reinforce the teachings of the classroom teacher by working with students on a one-to-one basis or in small groups Conferring and planning with teachers to recommend ideas, identify problems, and aid in problem‑solving Help students strengthen their skills to become more independent Help the classroom teacher with recordkeeping of the student’s progress. Conduct informal assessments to measure students’ mastery of learned materials as directed by the classroom teacher Attend meetings and in‑service for staff development. Follow suggestions made by classroom teachers, the principal, and others who may provide staff development Provide supervision during recess Required Qualifications (one of the following):
