Process Technician Apprentice At M&M Industries, we take pride in creating high‑quality plastic packaging solutions that make a difference in everyday life. As a Process Technician Apprentice, you will train alongside experienced technicians to gain hands‑on experience with injection molding processes, equipment, and quality standards — developing the skills needed for a successful long‑term career in manufacturing. Responsibilities include the startup and maintenance of injection molding machines, adjusting cycle times to meet production standards, assisting with die changes, color changeovers, and material changeovers, and making appropriate adjustments to the process to meet quality standards. The apprentice will also record data, create setup sheets, maintain change logs, keep work areas clean in accordance with 5S principles, assist other processors, perform first‑piece inspections, and operate forklift and/or overhead crane. Follow safety policies and LOTO procedures to ensure a safe work environment. Record data, create setup sheets, and maintain change logs. Keep work areas clean and organized according to 5S principles. Understand processing of different grades of plastics to produce quality parts. Assist other processors in performing mold changes, crafting samples of new molds and materials, performing color changes and material changes. Perform first‑piece inspections of finished parts after a changeover. Operate forklift and/or overhead crane. Competencies (Knowledge/Skills/Abilities)

Knowledge of injection molding process. Mechanical aptitude. Ability to work in a team environment. Ability to perform basic arithmetic. Strong organizational skills. Strong communication skills. Education

High school diploma or G.E.D. (required). Experience

Experience with injection molding process preferred. Prior experience in a manufacturing environment required. Licenses and Certifications

Forklift certification. Physical Job Requirements

Able to lift and handle a minimum of 45–55 pounds. Exceptional hand‑eye coordination. Ability to perform work in a standing or sitting position as required. Work is performed in a manufacturing environment which may be hot/cold and requires the use of PPE at all times (eyeglasses, ear plugs where required, etc.). Location: Lordstown, OH
