$18.25 / Hour Schedule:
DayTime (Sat 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM, Sun 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM) A part-time security officer assisting government facilities with patrol duties, requiring an armed guard license. Key Responsibilities
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site‑specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, using de‑escalation skills when necessary. Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security‑related concerns. Monitor access points and control entry and exit of individuals and/or vehicles according to site protocols. Maintain detailed records and logs of activities, incidents, and observations during each shift. Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and other personnel. Carry assigned firearm and other security-related equipment in accordance with company policies and applicable laws. Participate in ongoing training and drills to remain prepared for emergency response situations specific to the government environment. Minimum Requirements
At least 6 months of security-related experience. Valid armed guard card or license. Aged 21 or older (armed roles). High school diploma or equivalent. Background investigation and drug screening as required by law. Participation in industry‑specific security training programs. Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only (not applicable to this role). Benefits
