Season & Schedule:
Seasonal role typically begins in late October and runs through the end of March, weather permitting. Snowmaking depends on weather conditions; flexibility is key. Shifts may be extended or start times adjusted with little notice. This is an hourly, non‑exempt position reporting to the Snowmaking Supervisor, Director of Environmental Operations, and Director of Environmental Management.
What We’re Looking For:
Must be at least 18 years old
Reliable, punctual, and safety‑minded
Able to work weekends and holidays
Comfortable working outdoors in extreme winter conditions
Capable of working on your feet for extended periods
Able to walk steep, variable terrain safely and confidently
Able to lift 10–100 lbs on a regular basis
Comfortable with heights and able to ride a chairlift
Flexible and willing to work extended or consecutive days as weather requires
What You’ll Do:
Start up, shut down, and maintain snow guns
Adjust equipment to adapt to changing temperatures and wind conditions
Position snow guns for optimal snow coverage
Monitor and maintain pumping and water systems
Ensure snowmaking equipment runs efficiently and safely at all times
Assist with mountain projects and, when needed, support other departments such as Lifts and Mountain Adventure Park
Perform additional duties as directed by your supervisor
What We Provide:
Essential gear at the time of hire, including a helmet, headlamp, and your first pair of snowmaking gloves.
