Security Officer – Education Patrol

Kapolei, HI , you will serve and safeguard clients across a range of education sites. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer, you will monitor and patrol educational locations to deter security-related incidents. Your presence and professional communication will foster a welcoming atmosphere, while you support a caring culture through outstanding customer service.

What You’ll Do
Provide customer service to clients, students, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, using problem-solving skills within the educational environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols around campus buildings and perimeters to deter unauthorized activities and suspicious behavior.
Observe and report any unusual activities or hazards to appropriate personnel.
Assist with access control and visitor management as required by site-specific procedures.
Collaborate with campus staff and/or law enforcement as needed for security matters.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of all incidents and patrol activities.
Support the enforcement of campus rules and policies as directed by the client and Allied Universal.
Minimum Requirements
Customer service experience is preferred.
Guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
