Core Responsibilities Educational and Training Support

Develop and deliver training materials on customs entry processes, procedures, and regulatory requirements in collaboration with Flexport Customs Compliance

Create and maintain educational resources, including process guides, work instructions, videos, system tutorials and/or in‑person trainings

Conduct onboarding sessions for new team members on customs brokerage fundamentals as a support for Associate Managers and Managers

Support continuous learning initiatives and stay current with regulatory changes and industry best practices

Facilitate workshops and knowledge‑sharing sessions across operational teams as recommended by Customs Compliance and Head of Customs

Collaborate with operations teams to identify process improvement opportunities

Help resolve entry‑related issues and support problem‑solving efforts

Project: Review all training materials and operational guidance to reflect current regulatory requirements in combination with Customs Compliance

Support compliant use of internal systems and processes

NOTE: Customs Compliance will maintain responsibility for broker education as required by 19 CFR.

Required Qualifications

2 years of experience in customs brokerage, international trade, or related field

(External Candidates) Strong understanding of customs systems, ability to learn quickly and operationalize Flexport’s systems into clear instructions

Strong understanding of customs entry processes and procedures

Knowledge of customs regulations, tariff classifications, and trade compliance requirements

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Willingness to travel, as needed for in‑person trainings

Preferred Qualifications

Licensed Customs Broker or progress toward licensing

Experience in training, education, or knowledge management roles

Understanding of trade agreements and preferential duty programs

Skills And Competencies

Analytical thinking and problem‑solving abilities

Organizational perspective to set and define training roles

Adaptability to changing regulations and requirements

Time management and ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and projects

Professional written and verbal communication

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and learning management systems

Compensation US base salary range: $74,100 – $92,700 USD.
