The job will be located in Amasa, Michigan in Iron County in the Upper Peninsula.
We are seeking a
Housekeeper (FLEXIBLE HOUR PART-TIME)
to work in our main office.
The Housekeeper will assist with the overall care of the Main Office facility. The Housekeeper will be responsible for cleaning office areas, restrooms, conference space and gathering the trash and stocking bathrooms with necessary supplies.
Responsibilities Include:
Clean all office areas, restrooms, and conference spaces, including sweeping and mopping on a weekly basis.
Emptying of trash cans, wash as needed and add new liners.
Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, including restocking of supplies.
Responsible for cleaning interior of windows of the office building.
Mix and dispose of all cleaning solutions appropriately.
Notify management of any maintenance repairs required.
Respect office spaces, cleaning is not to include desktop space or chairs within the office spaces.
Performs duties in a safe manner.
Ensure that work/assignment areas are clean and that equipment, tools, supplies, etc., are properly stored at all times, as well as before leaving such areas for breaks, mealtimes, and end of the workday.
Strives to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment, and the achievement of safe working practices.
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Some housekeeping/cleaning work experience desired.
Good communication skills.
Ability to work independently
Organized, Detail oriented, Dependable
