Wastewater Treatment Operator Job Opening The Western Monmouth Utilities Authority, Monmouth County’s premier environmental government agency, is excited to be expanding the staff of dedicated and valued professionals who maintain our critical wastewater infrastructure by seeking several Wastewater Treatment Operators. Responsibilities Operate our 8.8 MGD advanced tertiary treatment plant, taking samples, monitoring data and maintenance, among other tasks.

Qualifications Experience in wastewater treatment, a high school diploma, a valid Driver’s License, an NJDEP License in Sewer Treatment (S 1-4), ability to lift 75 pounds safely, a valid CDL, Class B with Tanker endorsement license.

Employment Details This is a full-time position on a rotating shift.

Overnights and weekends are a must . The starting salary is $39.71 an hour and benefits are available immediately upon employment.
