Qualifications

Proof of high school graduation/GED equivalent.

Demonstrated proficiency in applied technology (Microsoft Office).

Demonstrated proficiency in general office management and procedures.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

High level of integrity and confidentiality regarding student records, employment records and campus issues.

Self‑motivated with the ability to work under pressure, handle multiple tasks and work collaboratively.

Terms Of Employment 193 Days

Salary/Pay Grade $25,601/CP-4 as approved by the Board of Trustees.

Essential Functions

Process correspondence for diagnosticians and speech pathologists.

Prepare and distribute documents and reports to building personnel, district personnel and parents within legal timelines.

Enter data for special education information (e.g., IEP, student data).

Perform clerical duties including scheduling appointments (e.g., assessment times, interview with teachers and/or parents), preparing reports, and maintaining files for the special education department and school administration.

Maintain confidential files for diagnosticians and speech pathologists.

Communicate with all parties regarding student transportation for special education students (e.g., transportation department, parents, staff) to ensure proper and timely routing of new students receiving special education transportation and communicate any changes or concerns.

Assist the campus administrative assistant in performing all office procedures.

Perform other duties as assigned by the principal.

Regular and reliable attendance is an essential job function.

Working Conditions Maintain emotional control under stress; tolerate moderate noise levels; work with frequent interruptions. Repetitive hand motions; prolonged use of computer; prolonged sitting.
