Recreation Aide – Palm Springs Post Acute
This full‑time position is offered through Marquis Health Consulting Services and is based at the Palm Springs Post Acute facility.
Schedule & Pay Tuesday–Saturday shifts. Tuesdays and Wednesdays: 1:30 PM–7:30 PM. Thursdays–Saturdays: 9 AM–4:30 PM. Pay: $17 per hour.
Responsibilities
Facilitate daily, weekly, and monthly recreation events to encourage socialization and engagement among residents.
Observe residents during events and assist with activities such as coloring, crafts, and other recreational needs.
Report any medical concerns to supervisors promptly.
Craft, color, decorate, and play games with residents as part of activity programming.
Qualifications
Prior recreation or activities experience in a nursing home setting, preferably with dementia care.
Ability to demonstrate knowledge and skill in providing age‑appropriate care to residents.
High School Diploma or GED.
