Position Summary This position provides support for housekeepers and laundry personnel. Responsibilities include stocking housekeeping closets with linen and supplies, delivering linen and supplies to housekeepers, removing dirty linen and trash from housekeeper carts, and removing dirty linens and trash from hotel rooms. This position also assists with laundry responsibilities such as sorting, washing, drying, and folding linen and towels.
Duties & Responsibilities
Stock housekeeping closets with linen, amenities, and other supplies (50%)
Remove dirty linens and trash from hotel rooms, housekeeping carts, and hallways (30%)
Assist with laundry duties (15%)
Participate in training sessions and department meetings (5%)
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to speak and understand English.
Dependable, responsible, honest, with a strong work ethic.
Positive attitude.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Ability to work under time constraints and in a fast‑paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Hotel experience.
Customer service/guest interaction experience.
Physical Demands
Stand and walk for long periods of time.
Reach, bend, stoop, and squat.
Push or pull wheeled carts weighing up to 100 pounds.
Lift linen, equipment, and furniture weighing up to 50 pounds.
