We’re looking for a Water & Mold Technician with hands‑on experience in water mitigation and mold remediation. Responsibilities:
Perform water mitigation tasks: extraction, equipment setup, moisture monitoring, and documentation
Perform mold remediation: containment, negative air, HEPA cleaning, demolition, and detailed post‑cleaning
Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites with proper PPE
Communicate professionally and empathetically with homeowners and teammates
Document job progress including photos, readings, and daily logs
Operate and maintain remediation equipment
Follow IICRC standards and internal procedures
Participate in a rotating on‑call schedule for emergency work
Requirements:
1–3 years of water mitigation or mold remediation experience
Familiarity with water extraction, moisture meters, and drying systems
Familiarity with mold remediation steps, including:
Building proper containment
Establishing negative air
HEPA vacuuming and detailed surface cleaning
Material removal/demolition under containment
Post‑remediation cleaning and clearance prep
Certifications preferred: WRT and AMRT (Not required — we will train and certify the right person)
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work in crawlspaces, attics, and confined areas
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Dependable, team‑oriented, and safety‑conscious
