Job Description As a Dishwasher at Es Vedra Cinemas, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen operations. You will be responsible for cleaning dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment, ensuring a sanitary and safe environment.
Job Responsibilities
Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwasher or by hand. Ensure all items are clean, sanitized, and properly stored.
Keep the dishwashing area clean and organized. Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, counters, and equipment.
Dispose of trash and waste in proper containers. Regularly empty garbage bins and clean garbage cans.
Monitor levels of dishwashing supplies such as soap and sanitizers. Notify the Kitchen Manager when supplies are low.
Ensure the dishwasher is operating correctly. Report any malfunctions or maintenance needs to the Kitchen Manager.
Assist kitchen staff with tasks such as food prep and cleaning as needed. Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper handling and storage of chemicals. Use personal protective equipment as required.
Perform other tasks as assigned.
Required Skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
Basic understanding of sanitation and safety practices.
Education & Experience
HS Diploma or GED certificate preferred
Must be at least 18 years of age
Previous experience as a dishwasher preferred
Food Handler certification requiredAvailability to work during holidays, nights, and weekends with increased hours during peak times
Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods of standing, walking, climbing stairs
Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times.
Must be able to work in an environment with loud noise, flashing lights and repetitive motions.
