Amerit Fleet Solutions is hiring a skilled
Trailer Mechanic/Technician
to repair and maintain heavy‑duty Class 7–8 trailers, ensuring safe and efficient operations. Responsibilities include air brakes, 90‑BIT, and DOT inspections and repairs.
Compensation : Competitive hourly pay of $25–$30 per hour, depending on experience, paid weekly every Friday.
Potential sign‑on bonus
up to $2,500.
Shift : Monday – Friday, 2:00 pm – 10:30 pm (2nd shift).

What the Trailer Mechanic/Technician role looks like
Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on heavy‑duty Class 7–8 trailers, dollies, and switchers.
Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on Class 7–8 trailers.
Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, company policies, and procedures.
Access any area of the equipment or vehicle to perform necessary maintenance.
What our ideal candidate looks like
1–3 years of experience as a Trailer Mechanic/Technician, or an auto or diesel technology diploma from an accredited technical school.
Excellent communication skills and proficient computer skills.
Valid driver’s license.
