Job Purpose As a MS Language Arts Teacher, you will create and implement a flexible program and classroom environment that supports student learning and personal growth. You will develop lesson plans that align with established guidelines, build rapport with students, staff, and parents, and motivate learners to develop skills, attitudes, and knowledge that provide a strong educational foundation.
How You Will Impact Education
Plan and implement a program of instruction that adheres to the company's philosophy, goals, and objectives.
Create purposeful lesson plans to maximize teaching strategies and time on task.
Use student records to assess abilities and needs, maintaining accurate records.
Maximize the educational achievement of each student through differentiated instruction and frequent diagnostic assessment.
Provide appropriate activities to address student needs and generate progress reports.
Refer students with suspected learning problems to the appropriate support personnel.
Assign lessons, correct student work, and review oral presentations.
Coordinate class field trips when required.
Prepare students for state-required assessments.
Stay current in subject matter knowledge and learning theory, sharing insights for curriculum improvement.
Assist in ongoing curriculum revision and in selecting instructional materials.
Learn about supplemental services beneficial to students.
Provide a Classroom Environment Conducive to Learning
Create a learning environment suitable to student maturity and interests.
Maintain a positive rapport with students, demonstrating patience and nurturing.
Ensure the classroom is clean, safe, and showcases student work.
Implement all relevant student conduct policies.
Develop reasonable classroom/playground rules in accordance with CSUSA policy, maintaining order consistently.
Instructional Planning
Develop lesson plans that align with guidelines and goals.
Plan individual and group learning activities to meet objectives and student needs.
Prepare for assigned classes, demonstrating evidence of preparation.
Collaborate with staff during curriculum planning meetings.
Incorporate diagnostic information required by students’ Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
Take precautions to safeguard supplies, equipment, and materials.
School/Community Relations
Establish cooperative relationships and communicate with parents/guardians when appropriate.
Communicate consistently and positively with parents via all appropriate mediums.
Collaborate with administration and staff.
Maintain confidentiality regarding student records.
Participate in parent communication activities.
Participate in extracurricular activities to support a positive school culture (as required).
Required Qualifications and Skills
Demonstrates enthusiasm and commitment to the company’s mission and values.
Strong time‑management and organizational skills.
Ability to establish effective working relationships with teachers, students, parents, and staff.
Excellent interpersonal skills and professionalism.
Excellent oral, written, interpersonal, negotiating, and influencing communication skills.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Student Information System (SIS), and email communications.
Attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness.

Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree (BA) from an accredited institution or equivalent.
Valid teaching certification appropriate to the subject.
1–3 years of successful teaching experience (including student‑teaching internships).
Combination of education and experience that meets the role.
Command of grades/subject content and learning theory, including motivation and assessment techniques.
Commitment to company values.
Successful completion of criminal and employment background checks.
Instructional delivery techniques and strong communication.
Adherence to the Code of Ethics for the Education Profession.
Alternatives to above requirements may be acceptable to CSUSA.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Work Environment

May be noisy during high student traffic.
Physical Demands
No physical exertion required.
Occasionally stressful due to frequent student activity.
