JOB SUMMARY:
The Linen Attendant is responsible for taking inventory of linen to ensure an adequate supply in all areas, distributing linens, and maintaining a daily log. The position reports directly to the Director of Environmental Services.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Licensure/Certification:
None.
Work Experience:
On‑job training.
RESPONSIBILITIES / JOB DUTIES
Inventory unused linen in all areas to meet daily quota and log each item on a daily sheet and into the computer system.
Exchange and restock cart items and bring each to quota.
Transport linen from laundry to linen room and place on shelves.
Clean equipment and linen room, answer phone, pages, and supply extra linen when necessary.
Work in laundry when assigned and when linen duties are complete.
Wash, fold, and deliver linen as needed in various areas.
Other duties as assigned.
