Join AWARE Inc. as a Night Watch Technician to provide compassionate, 24‑hour care to adults, children, and families in Missoula.
Description
We are looking for a dedicated individual who can protect, care, and supervise residents during nighttime hours, maintain a safe environment, and respond to emergencies. You will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, documenting observations, and performing basic emergency procedures as needed.
Responsibilities
Protect, care, and supervise residents during the night.
Maintain safety and comfort through maintenance, cleaning, observation, and record‑keeping.
Transport residents for activities or work and perform basic emergency or H.E.L.P. procedures when necessary.
Remain awake throughout the night and effectively handle emergency situations following proper procedures.
Requirements
Implement individual support plans with knowledge of behavioral techniques and skill building for individuals with developmental disabilities.
Computer literacy; ability to use performance‑based software and an electronic medical records system.
Strong oral and written communication skills for teamwork, observation, and reporting.
High School Diploma or equivalent; previous related experience preferred.
Valid Montana driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
Pass a valid criminal and protective services background check.
Salary
– $17.00–$18.86 per hour.
