CDL bus permit preferred, but we will train. Guaranteed 4 hours a day. $25.88 starting salary for 2025-2026 School Year.

Reports To: Business Manager

Performance Responsibilities

Obeys all traffic laws.

Observes all mandatory safety regulations for school buses.

Maintains discipline when students are on the bus.

Reports undisciplined students to the proper authority.

Keeps assigned bus clean.

Keeps to assigned schedule.

Checks bus before each operation for mechanical defects and fills out pre-trip form.

Notifies the proper authority in case of mechanical failure or lateness.

Discharges students only at authorized stops.

Exercises responsible leadership when on out-of-district school trips.

Transports only authorized students.

Reports all accidents and completes required reports.

Enforces regulations against smoking and eating on the bus.

Performs other duties that may be assigned.

Terms of Employment: Salary and work year to be established by the Board. 9 month work year.

We will also send out screening questions to all past employers in which you have had direct supervision with children to ensure no misconduct.
