Reports To: Business Manager
Performance Responsibilities
Obeys all traffic laws.
Observes all mandatory safety regulations for school buses.
Maintains discipline when students are on the bus.
Reports undisciplined students to the proper authority.
Keeps assigned bus clean.
Keeps to assigned schedule.
Checks bus before each operation for mechanical defects and fills out pre-trip form.
Notifies the proper authority in case of mechanical failure or lateness.
Discharges students only at authorized stops.
Exercises responsible leadership when on out-of-district school trips.
Transports only authorized students.
Reports all accidents and completes required reports.
Enforces regulations against smoking and eating on the bus.
Performs other duties that may be assigned.
Terms of Employment: Salary and work year to be established by the Board. 9 month work year.
To comply with Faith's Law, beginning on July 1, 2023 and upon offer of employment, you will be asked to answer the following questions:
Have you ever been the subject of an allegation of sexual misconduct?
Have you ever been discharged from, been asked to resign from, resigned from, or otherwise been separated from any employment; been disciplined by an employer; or had an employment contract not renewed due to an adjudication or finding of sexual misconduct, or while an allegation of sexual misconduct against you was pending or under investigation?
Have you ever had a license or certificate suspended, surrendered, or revoked; or had an application for licensure, approval, or endorsement denied due to an adjudication or finding of sexual misconduct or while an allegation of sexual misconduct against you was pending or under investigation?
We will also send out screening questions to all past employers in which you have had direct supervision with children to ensure no misconduct.
