Job Responsibilities
Model Catholic values and uphold the Catholic identity of the school.
Create a joyful, academically challenging learning environment.
Teach Social Studies to grades 5–8 and ELA to grade 5.
Develop and deliver engaging, curriculum-based instruction.
Build positive and productive relationships with students, colleagues, and families.
Use effective classroom management that affirms the dignity of all students.
Actively contribute to the school’s community and culture.
Integrate technology into instruction where appropriate.
Perform non-teaching duties as assigned.
Carry out other responsibilities as assigned by the principal.
Requirements and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field.
New Jersey teacher certification (Standard, CEAS, or CE), or out-of-state equivalent.
Pastor’s letter attesting to the candidate’s active practice of the Catholic faith.
Completion of fingerprinting clearance and VIRTUS training.
Commitment to promoting the Catholic mission and values of the school.
Salary and Benefits
Annual salary range: $30,000 to $40,000.
