Xpect Solutions Inc is an UL508A Panel shop located in Longmont, Colorado. We manufacture customized control equipment to a variety of industries, as well as provides custom electrical design and engineering services.

Position Overview & Purpose The Control Panel Shop Technician II will work on various aspects related to the manufacturing of custom UL508A control panels and lid press machinery.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Identify electrical panel components from bill of materials and schematic symbols

Wire industrial control panels based on schematic, blueprint, and/or wire schedule

Mechanically and electrically layout panel designs based on drawings

Fabricate electrical control panels according to drawings

Wire panels to UL508A specifications and in accordance with drawings

Maintains a clean, organized, and productive workspace

Follows all safety protocols and procedures

Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Able to read electrical and mechanical schematics and drawings and have a good understanding of electrical and electronic symbols.

Experience with tools required for electric and mechanical assembly and fabrication

Strong, effective written and verbal communication skills

Detail oriented and strive for quality workmanship

Basic Qualifications & Competencies

2 years (or more) experience with panel building, layout, and design

Computer Skills- Word, Excel, Outlook

Experience with panel assembly, trouble shooting, fabrication, build, component layout, electrical enclosures, electrical assemblies, controls, and wiring- both AC and DC

Knowledge of UL508A Standards- Ability to complete resolve issues using the UL508A guide

Must be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
