What You’ll Do:

Resident‑centered care:

Provide personalized assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, ensuring comfort and privacy.

Keep an eye out:

Notice any changes in residents’ health or mood and inform the nursing team promptly.

Documentation:

Keep accurate records to track resident progress and ensure seamless transition of care between shifts.

Have fun:

Engage residents in games, chats, and enrichment activities that bring smiles to their faces.

What You’ll Bring:

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Certifications:

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and CPR certifications.

People skills:

Friendly, patient, good listener—ability to treat residents as family.

Team player:

Works collaboratively with the nursing team and other staff.

Attention to detail:

Detail‑oriented to ensure residents’ comfort and safety.

Working Conditions: The Certified Nursing Assistant will primarily work within the assisted‑living unit.

The role involves hands‑on work, diverse resident needs, and interaction with residents, families, and staff.

Physical Demands: Stand, bend, talk, listen, walk, sit, climb stairs, stoop, use hands and fingers to touch, handle, and feel; reach, lift, and/or move items up to 50 pounds.

Occasionally lift and transfer residents using proper body mechanics and assist in moving residents to wheelchairs, beds, stretchers, stationary chairs, and vehicles as needed.

Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Ability to smell odors to ensure resident safety and quality care.
