Duties and Responsibilities
The CPP/MyPace Instructor performs as an instructor in a regular classroom setting, presenting instructions in designated subject area.
The CPP/MyPace Instructor meets SMART Goals established by management every Program Year.
Maintains a high degree of discipline within the classroom setting in order to insure maximum learning and student motivation.
Establishes a high degree of student/instructor rapport.
Utilizes all possible curriculum resources available.
Responsible for adequate classroom preparation, student folders, and daily attendance.
Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent.
Prefer Bachelor's degree in Education with a major in English, Social Studies, or related field.
Prefer one year in a teaching capacity with disadvantaged youth.
Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record preferred.
Required to pass a drug screen in compliance with our Substance Abuse and Drug-Free Workplace policy.
Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a nationwide criminal background check.
