Responsibilities
Maintains high sanitation standards for china, glassware, tableware, and cooking utensils
Ensures that the dishwashing area, along with the entire kitchen/s, are maintained and cleaned to the highest standards
Sorts and rinses dirty dishes, glasses, tableware and other cooking utensils and places them in racks to send through dish machine
Sorts and stacks clean dishes
Sweeps and mops floors, fills and empties soak tubs with cleaning/sanitizing solutions
Cleans the kitchen refrigerators, ceiling air vents and other kitchen equipment
Wipes up any spills to ensure kitchen floors remain dry and clean
Lifts and carries racks of dishes, glassware and other utensils
Provides general assistance to cooks and chefs

Qualifications and Education
One-year experience in a full-service restaurant preferred

Work Environment This job operates in a kitchen environment. This role routinely uses sinks and dishwashers and tools to clean kitchen appliances. Employees in this role are frequently exposed to hot water, potentially slippery floors, garbage disposals and cleaning chemicals.
