STARTING RATE: $16.88 Maplewood of Cheshire County is looking for help in Housekeeping / Environmental Services.
Part Time: 16 hours a week every Saturday and Sunday 7am – 3pm
Full Time positions: 40 hours week, including weekend rotations
The Housekeeping Aide performs a wide range of cleaning duties in all areas of the Nursing Home using specialized equipment and chemicals in order to maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, staff and the public.
Specific duties include the following:
Cleans all resident rooms and corridors on a daily basis.
Vacuums carpeting and rugs: dry and wet mops floors.
Washes windows.
Cleans/dusts walls, windows, doors, ceilings, fixtures, stairways, elevators, entrances, and exits. Spot cleans between washings.
Cleans bathrooms: cleans and disinfects all fixtures, floors and walls. Replenishes bathroom supplies.
Cleans and rehangs curtains and draperies.
Empties trash when needed.
