+ Professional etiquette
+ Promptly ascertain proper levels of response.
+ Triage calls and enter data into computer system.* Data Entry with critical attention to details.* Constantly monitoring the dispatch system.
+ Ensure units are en-route.
+ Post moves in a timely fashion.
+ Ensure other unites are within acceptable distance.* Communicate appropriate routing instructions.* Assist with routine maintenance of Communication Center.* Investigate and report all time exceptions.* Complete and submit daily reports.* Assist in training new personnel.**Prerequisites** for this position:* High school diploma or GED.* Highly organized.* Accountability, compliance, and teamwork.* Professional, courteous, and respectful interpersonal communication skills with patients, families, and other staff.**Preferred** experience or credentialsCompetitive candidates will have:* Minimum 1 year experience with medical terminology preferably with a background in emergency medical transportation.* Thorough geographic knowledge of service areas.* Ability to prioritize multiple tasks; ability to work independently and as a team member.* Competent radio communication skills.NewVista Behavioral Health is a forward-thinking development and operating company of behavioral health hospitals, substance abuse rehabilitation centers, behavioral health providers and transport operators, as well as outpatient telehealth solutions.The NewVista mission is to inspire hope and deliver holistic care in a contemporary and healing environment.
