Overview Deliver joy and holiday cheer to older adults through DOROT’s Winter Package Delivery!

As a Winter Package Delivery volunteer, you can make a meaningful connection with an older neighbor through a social visit or phone call and a thoughtful, seasonal package. While the winter season can increase feelings of loneliness or isolation, volunteering for Winter Package Delivery creates shared connections and community.

What Else to Know? Who Can Volunteer? DOROT welcomes people of all faiths, backgrounds, and identities as both volunteers and older adult participants. Package Delivery volunteers need to be at least 18 years old.

Can We Volunteer as a Family? Families with children age 10 and older are welcome to volunteer together.

Time Commitment One-time commitment of about 90 minutes.

Requirements Volunteers over the age of 18 must have a valid, US government-issued photo ID and watch a short online orientation.

Sign up Group Sign up for the Package Delivery as a group. The minimum group size is 12 participants, and all must be age 18+.
