Position Summary ThePostgraduate Head Coach at IMG Academyis responsible forthe daily development, mentorship, and competitive preparation of postgraduate student-athletes within the academy’s football program. This role supports elite athletic performance while emphasizing college readiness, personal growth, and alignment with IMG Academy’s standards of excellence.

The coach will work collaboratively with position coaches, coordinators, strength & conditioning, sports science, academics, and player development staff to deliver a world-class experience for postgraduate footballstudent-athletes.

Key Responsibilities

Coach and develop postgraduate football student-athletesin accordance withIMG Academy’s football philosophy and standards

Plan and execute position-specific drills, individual skill development, and team concepts

Support practice planning, installation, walkthroughs, and film study

Assistwith game-day preparation, scouting reports, and in-game responsibilities

Provide constructive feedback and mentorship to help athletes reach collegiate-level expectations

Assistwith roster management, depth charts, and player evaluations

Support strength & conditioning alignment, recovery protocols, and sports science initiatives

Maintain clear communication with football operationsregardingschedules, travel, andlogistics

Uphold compliance with IMG Academy policies and campus expectations

Serve as a positive role model and mentor for postgraduatestudent-athletes

Reinforce accountability, discipline, and professionalism on and off the field

Support college placement efforts by providing evaluations, feedback, and communication with recruiting staff as needed

Assist with IMG Academy football camps, clinics, andspecial eventsas assigned

Represent the football program and IMG Academy in a professional manner during on-campus and off-campus events

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

High standard ofproficiencyin training andcoachingtechniques

7years’ experience playingorcoaching at a collegiate or professional level

Strong understanding of football fundamentals, scheme, and player development

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, travel, and holidays

Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills

Preferred Skills

Collegiate or professional coaching experience

Position-specific coachingexpertise

Experience working camps

Experience working with postgraduate or college-preparatory athletes

Background in player development, recruiting support, or performance tracking

Physical Demands and Work Environment

Ability to lift, move,pushand pull equipment or boxesin excess of40lbs.

Should be able to handle outdoor temperatures for a reasonableperiod of time.

Must be able to move around campus which includes gym, turf, fields, etc.

Ability to work flexible hours to include nights, weekends and holidays isrequired
