American Leadership Academy is now accepting applications for a part-time
Technology Teacher
for the 2025-2026 school year at our
Applied Technologies Campus , located in Mesa, AZ. Candidates must possess, or be willing to obtain, a valid Arizona IVP fingerprint clearance card.
Responsibilities
Design and implement a comprehensive curriculum that covers programming languages, software applications, and graphic design.
Deliver engaging lessons using a variety of teaching methods, including lectures, hands-on activities, group projects, and technology-enhanced learning.
Evaluate student performance through assignments, tests, and practical projects, providing timely and constructive feedback.
Maintain a positive and organized classroom environment conducive to learning, fostering respect and collaboration among students.
Provide guidance and support to students regarding course material, career opportunities in IT, and pathways for further education.
Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in IT education, participating in relevant training and professional development activities.
Work collaboratively with other faculty members and staff to enhance the IT program and participate in departmental meetings and planning.
Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
Valid AZ IVP Fingerprint Clearance card
At least 2 years of professional experience in the IT field or education.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field.
3-5 years of experience in teaching information technology or related subjects.
Relevant teaching certification or credentials in technology education.
