We are currently seeking an energetic, service-driven Assistant / Associate Golf Professional to join our professional team.

Location Marine Drive Golf Club Posted 2025-12-17 Deadline 2026-01-16 Job Summary This role is ideal for a motivated PGA of Canada professional who is passionate about the game and takes pride in delivering a first-class golf experience every day. You will play a key role in the daily operation of the Golf Shop; working closely with the Professional Team to support instruction, merchandising, tournaments, and member engagement while upholding the high service standards expected at Marine Drive Golf Club.

Responsibilities

Deliver a world-class experience for Members and Guests

Represent and promote Marine Drive Golf Club with professionalism and pride

Assist with merchandising, pricing, inventory control, and monthly physical counts

Provide club fitting and club repair services

Conduct private lessons and assist with junior programs, member clinics, and camps

Support tournament and event operations alongside the Professional Staff

Play golf with members of all abilities to foster engagement and relationships

Lead by example and contribute positively to team culture

Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming Professional Shop

Follow all Club policies, procedures, and health and safety standards

Qualifications

PGA of Canada Member in good standing

Strong interpersonal, organizational, and sales skills

Professional, positive attitude with a team-first mindset

Knowledge of retail trends, merchandise, vendors, and inventory control

Ability to exercise sound judgment, discretion, and independent problem-solving

Private club experience considered an asset

Instructional experience (private lessons, junior camps) considered an asset

Club fitting and equipment knowledge considered an asset

Social media and marketing experience considered an asset

Experience with Jonas POS considered an asset

Compensation

$48,000–$60,000 annually; paid bi-weekly

100% Lesson revenue(total revenue potential $25,000–$50,000)
