Job Summary We are seeking a thorough and reliable General Cleaner to join our team. The General Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for staff and visitors. The ideal candidate will have a keen attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities
Perform general cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing in assigned areas.
Empty and clean trash receptacles and dispose of waste in designated containers.
Clean and disinfect restrooms, ensuring they are well‑stocked with supplies.
Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors as needed.
Maintain the cleanliness of common areas, such as break rooms, hallways, and lobbies.
Follow cleaning schedules and instructions provided by the supervisor.
Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations and practices.
Qualifications
Previous experience in commercial cleaning or a related field preferred.
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness standards.
Physical stamina and the ability to handle repetitive tasks.
Excellent time‑management skills to complete tasks in a timely manner.
Strong communication skills and ability to effectively interact with team members and supervisors.
Flexibility to work during evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
