This company is growing and expanding! They have a great team, offer outstanding benefits and a stable work environment. They are a leading manufacturer of high quality products and are looking to add a hands‑on Assistant QC Manager to their team.
Responsibilities
Assisting the Quality Manager in developing and implementing an effective plan for the quality control department
Assisting with overseeing and training QC associates
Supporting non‑conformance activities
Implementing quality improvements
Completing quality documentation and reports (8D, capability, etc.)
Working with customers and suppliers on any quality issues
Supporting initial containment and approving sorts for issues
Approving new gauge validation
Ensuring compliance with IATF and ISO standards
Qualifications
Previous quality experience in an automotive manufacturing facility
Previous supervisory experience
A degree is preferred, but not required
Any quality certifications are a plus (Six Sigma, CQE, etc.)
Experience with ISO, IATF, SPC, PFMEA, Six Sigma, 8D, etc
Excellent communication skills
