The Environmental Service Hospital Housekeepers may work in any location on client premises. This individual cleans and keeps facilities or locations in an orderly condition within a healthcare campus. Responsibilities may vary among accounts based on business necessities and client requirements. Daily Responsibilities
Cleans and polishes lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim. Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas. Sweeps and/or vacuums floor. Dusts furniture and equipment. Polishes metalwork. Washes walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills. Empties wastebasket and transports trash to the disposal area. Replenishes bathroom supplies. Transports small equipment or tools between departments. Job Qualifications
Experience in the janitorial industry is a plus. Medical cleaning experience is a plus. Post-Offer Medical, Background Screening and Drug Test required. High school diploma or GED; or equivalent required. Physical Demands:
Requires regular standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs., and frequent handling of equipment. Able to work in a standing position for long periods. May involve exposure to chemicals; safety equipment may be required. Benefits
