Job Title: Precision Parts Cleaner
Department: Coating
100% onsite at Keene, NH
2 positions needed - one for A shift and one for B shift:
A Shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)
B Shift (3:00 PM – 1:00 AM)
Top Skills/Requirements
HS Diploma or GED
Excellent eyesight as the worker will be inspecting items up close
Ability to perform repetitious tasks
Basic understanding of computers
The purpose of this position is to provide cleaning and inspection of optics prior to application of thin film coatings.
This includes both manual and automated cleaning processes.
This includes the completion of all associated paperwork and electronic transactions using Epicor Shop Floor Management Software.
This work is performed primarily in the Coating Department.
Duties and Responsibilities
Verify serial numbers, count and condition of all materials received in the department for coating.
Daily Clean all parts per standard operating procedures and kit per standard load sizes.
Daily Complete all required paperwork and issue Acceptance Test Plans for every lot cleaned, and kitted.
Daily Interface with technicians and supervisors from other departments to discuss rejections and ensure timely transition of parts from coating back to rework.
Perform monthly inventory checks to verify accuracy of Coating Department inventory system, and notify Department Supervisor of any discrepancies.
Operation and cleaning of the Ultrasonic clean line per standard operational procedures.
Working Conditions
Heat, noise, odors, chemical hazards
Lifting 35 lbs. daily
Wearing protective equipment
Education/experience (0-3 years)
High School Diploma or GED
Working with computers desired - Cleanroom, assembly
Inspection experience desired
Experience in handling precision components desired
Experience cleaning critical surfaces desired
Ability to perform repetitious tasks in a timely fashion
Experience with MIL specification interpretation desired
