We are seeking a Full‑Time Kennel Assistant to help provide outstanding patient care and client service in a fast‑paced, multi‑doctor animal hospital. The Kennel Assistant is responsible for maintaining back‑office duties, including caring for boarding animals, maintaining feeding schedules and providing prescribed medication, cleaning and mopping the kennel area, bathing animals, maintaining the highest level of care for all pets, and communicating directly with clients. Additional duties may include general cleaning of the hospital. Responsibilities
Care for boarding animals. Maintain feeding schedules and administer prescribed medication. Clean and maintain the kennel area (including mopping). Bathe animals while upholding the highest level of care. Communicate directly with clients and support hospital cleanliness. Ideal Candidate
Demonstrates professionalism, dependability, and positive communication skills; can multi‑task in a hands‑on environment. Energetic, people‑and‑pet‑focused with excellent work ethic, social, and organizational skills. Compassionate and caring. Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends. Able to work individually and as part of a team. Self‑starter who can complete daily tasks without constant direction. Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
Ability to lift 40 lbs. Prior customer‑service experience. Prior experience working with animals in a hospital setting. Ability to work in a wet environment. EEO Statement
