Position Highlights
Starting pay: $18.50/hour

Responsibilities
Performs complete cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting and sanitizing furniture, equipment, mirrors and fixtures.
Washing windows, walls, ceilings, vents and light fixtures.
Sweeping, scrubbing and refinishing floors.
Vacuuming and shampooing carpet.
Re‑restocking restrooms.
Replacing light bulbs.
Reporting repairs and equipment failures.
Assists with outdoor cleaning of parking lots, windows and roofs, using ladders when necessary.
Works with cleaning chemicals, disinfectants, floor strippers and finishes.
Handles waste removal: collects and transports soiled linen, empties trash containers, changes sharps containers, transports hazardous waste to compactors, recycles materials and empties cigarette receptacles.
Maintains a safe working environment and complies with infection control guidelines and department quality standards.
Attends all required in‑service education and training, including safety updates.
Demonstrates the ability to meet time schedules and deadlines consistently.
Qualifications
High School diploma or GED equivalent (Preferred).
One year of experience (Preferred).
Ability to prioritize assignments and complete work in a timely manner.
Capability to operate cleaning equipment.
Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with co‑workers.
Work Environment
Repeats work per set procedures.
Fast‑paced and stressful.
May work in contaminated, isolation, construction and renovation areas.
Occasional exposure to extreme temperatures and unpleasant odors.
Exposure to individuals with varying degrees of mental, physical conditions and illnesses.

Base compensation within the listed pay range based on qualifications, skills, relevant experience, and training.
Premium pay for shift, on‑call, and other related conditions.
Incentive pay for select positions.
