Title:
Community Coach
Responsibilities:
Work under the supervision of the Principal and the Head Coach in the sport of the coach's interest.
Assist the Head Coach in developing game techniques and strategies to prepare the team for competition.
Evaluate the need for individual or team improvement and provide direction accordingly.
Maintain inventory of athletic equipment.
Maintain first aid procedures and current knowledge of first aid techniques.
Maintain locker rooms and playing facilities.
Accept directions from the Head Coach at all times.
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
Experience and knowledge coaching sports preferred.
Certificates, Licenses, Permits:
Georgia High School Association Lay Coaching Certificate required.
Valid first aid certificate required.
