Job Description PURPOSE AND SCOPE: Under general supervision, the PT Coordinator I, Recreational Sports provides oversight and facilitation of day-to-day operations within assigned area of specialty, participating in planning, development, evaluation and improvement. Assists with ensuring smooth and efficient operations. Responsible for coordination of support functions such as scheduling, communications, workflows, supplies, information processing, and staff support. May be responsible for coordinating budget planning process and for tracking and coordinating budget expenditures. Makes and communicates process decisions based on best practices.

Essential Job Functions

Assist with daily operations of assigned area

Act as general point of contact within the area of specialty

Enter, track and maintain a variety of data, including documents, spreadsheets and databases

Create and submit a variety of reports related to assigned department. Perform research and analysis to assist with preparation and presentation of findings

May assist with maintaining compliance of processes and documentation

Responsible for other reasonable related duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

Strong attention to accuracy and detail

Excellent knowledge of general office and software applications

Ability to prepare and analyze reports

Possess good organizational skills

Ability to prioritize duties

High level of customer service

Physical Abilities The work is sedentary. Typically, the employee sits comfortably to do the work. However, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying of light items, such as papers, books, or small parts; or driving an automobile. No special physical demands are required to perform the work.

Work Schedule And Conditions

Equipment used includes, PC workstation running on a LAN in a Microsoft Windows environment, calculator, phone and other general office equipment

Interface with internal and external contacts as needed to carry out the functions of the position

Work is performed in a climate-controlled office with minimal exposure to safety hazards

Travel with club sports teams as needed on some evenings and weekends

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or GED equivalent and at least 1 year of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Salary Hourly Pay Rate is $17.58
