Responsibilities
Oversees the Laundry Attendant’s sorting and treating of dirty linens.
Ensures operating equipment is loaded and unloaded properly.
Ensures ironing/steaming/pressing is done properly.
Ensures items are sorted in correct manner.
Ensures a clean work area and equipment.
Reports all equipment malfunctions to Housekeeping Supervisor.
Responsible for monthly inventory count.
Conducts safety audits of the hotel and ensures all team members are following proper safety procedures; addresses all unsafe conditions.
Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time (7+ hours).
Always follows the Company Service Standards model.
Must be available for regularly scheduled work and be able to work a variety of hours, holidays, and weekends.
Other duties may be assigned at any time.
Qualifications
Knowledgeable of all company policies and procedures, including fire and safety regulations.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
