Electrophysiology Technician – Providence Regional Medical Center, Everett, WA
Position Details
Full‑time, Day shift, On‑site
Pay Range: $56.72 - $92.16 per hour
Location: 1321 Colby Ave, Everett, WA
Responsibilities
Prepare for and assist the physician in testing and/or treatment procedures in the Electrophysiology Lab.
Act as monitor and scrub technician, maintaining sterile technique.
Perform and review baseline patient assessments; evaluate patient responses to diagnostic or interventional maneuvers and medications during procedures.
Provide patient care and administer drugs commonly used in the EP lab as directed by a qualified physician.
Maintain proficiency in basic cardiac life support.
Operate and maintain all diagnostic and therapeutic EP equipment as specified by the manufacturer.
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited school of cardiovascular or radiographic technology, or equivalent education/experience.
Washington Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Certification upon hire, or Washington Radiologic Technologist upon hire.
National Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International upon hire, or National Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire.
National Provider BLS from the American Heart Association upon hire.
National Provider ACLS from the American Heart Association upon hire.
Six months cardiac internship during education.
EP experience in a technical capacity.
Preferred Qualifications
Completion of formal training from an AMA‑approved Cardiovascular Technology Program preferred.
Two years of prior experience in a cardiovascular laboratory preferred.
