Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Operate in varying weather conditions to complete fieldwork
Direct daily field operations of the crew, delegate tasks, and oversee performance
Take ownership of all assigned field equipment, ensuring proper use and maintenance
Coordinate project logistics including site access, field conditions, schedule alignment, and client updates
Confirm all fieldwork is complete before leaving the job site
Demonstrate professionalism and respect in all client interactions
Consistently uphold and represent RRC Companies’ values in the field
Utilize Microsoft Office tools, including Microsoft Teams, for communication and documentation
Properly store files and send email (going to an office is not required on most jobs)
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
5+ years' experience as a Party Chief or Crew Chief
Must have prior ALTA experience
Proficient in operating Trimble survey equipment, including TSC3, TSC7, R8, and R10 units
Strong background in construction layout, including: building staking, parking lot staking, utility staking, boundary searches
Experience running level loops and establishing vertical/horizontal benchmarks
Capable of generating and interpreting OPUS solutions
Strong working knowledge of Civil 3D for field calculations and data preparation
Navigate to and from project sites, including long-distance travel as required
