Job Summary:
The Department of Ophthalmology & Visual Sciences at the University of Kentucky seeks a Glaucoma Fellow. The candidate will receive training from physicians committed to excellence in clinical care, instruction, scholarly activity, and professional development. The primary responsibility is to enhance the clinical practice of the department as part of the Glaucoma Team. The individual will provide direct patient care and train residents and medical students assigned to the Ophthalmology Department.
Applicants should include an updated CV. The position is not supervisory and is open until filled.
Responsibilities: Provide direct patient care for glaucoma patients. Teach and mentor residents and medical students. Assist in clinical skill development and procedural training. Contribute to scholarly activities and professional development.
